GENERAL POLICIES
Important Information --- Please Read

       Frequently guests are uncertain of the exact length of their visit with us and make their reservations for a longer period of time than they actually want to stay.  As a result, we turn away other requests for rooms.  THEREFORE YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY FOR THE NIGHTS YOU RESERVE.  All rates are subject to an 13.875% sales tax.
       We have a maximum number of people that may use a room.  If you exceed the maximum, and bring more people than you have reserved space for, they will be asked to find lodging elsewhere.  Sorry, NO PETS ACCEPTED.
       Rooms are usually not available until after 3:00 p.m.   Check-out is 10:00 a.m.  Children under two are also counted as people and will be charged $5.00 extra.  This charge includes a crib with linens.
       Some of our units offer hide-a-bed sofas.  These sofas can be used for ONE extra person ONLY.  There will be a charge, and we furnish the linens.
       The balance of your bill is due upon check-in.   Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Travelers checks, and cash are accepted.  SORRY, WE CAN NO LONGER ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS UPON CHECK-IN.

CHECK-IN TIME:  Our check-in time is 3:00 PM Exceptions may be made if your room is available. 

CHECK-OUT TIME:  Our check-out time is 10:00 a.m. 

CREDIT CARDS:  We honor Visa, Master Card & Discover 

 

MEETING ROOMS:  The Clubhouse is available by request at the office. 

PETS:  Absolutely Not Allowed.. Violations will result in loss of room with no refund. 

HORSESHOES & SHUFFLEBOARD:  Can be used on our grounds (equipment provided.)

PLAYGROUND FOR CHILDREN:  It is located in a protected area in the center of our grounds. 

RESERVATION REQUIREMENTS

       Our cabins with kitchens require a three-night reservation (except for an occasional opening between reservations). The Lodge suites may be reserved for shorter stays. A deposit of two nights rent is required within seven days from the reservation placement and will be applied to the first and last night of the reservation. The balance plus tax is due upon arrival. No checks please.

Holidays and Low-Season     Reservations require a three-night minimum and should be placed as early as possible. Christmas holiday reservations require a five-night minimum between December 21 and January 5.  Holiday reservations occasionally require a longer stay.  Stated rates are subject to a 15% discount in the off-season.   Enjoy the best fishing with the off-season prices from Labor Day to Thanksgiving and Easter to Mid-June.

REFUND POLICY

       We can offer an 80% refund for cancellation if the room is re-rented for the days you reserved.  No refunds on holiday reservations, or maximum, Peak Season reservations.  NO REFUNDS on credit card reservations.  No refunds on "Early Check-Outs."
       We charge for the days that are reserved.  We must follow this policy because we have turned people away for the nights you reserved and bring these things to your attention to avoid any misunderstandings.   We honor reservations only for the number of people you have reserved space for.   All reservations must be cancelled in writing, by fax, or by email and verbal telephone notification.  We sincerely look forward to your visit at The Riverside.
